We’re excited to welcome Mia Przelomski to the team as our new Communications Assistant! Mia is a senior at the University of Florida, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Statistics with a minor in Communication Studies. She brings experience in content creation, graphic design, and sports communications, as well as a passion for social media strategy. Mia will play a key role in the institute’s communications and public relations efforts.

The Florida Semiconductor Institute (FSI) has co-funded the South Regional Node of the National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME South), a national workforce initiative led by the University of Texas at Austin to help meet growing demand for semiconductor talent across the United States.

The Florida Semiconductor Institute and Ecotek Lab hosted a three-day Semiconductor STEM Camp at NeoCity from June 9-11, providing middle and high school students with hands-on exposure to one of the nation’s fastest-growing industries.

We’re excited to welcome Cody Shumway to FSI as our new Administrative Assistant II! With professional experience spanning hospitality, law, and billing, Cody brings a robust background in administration and customer service that will serve him well in his new role and be a tremendous asset to our team.
