Biography
Dr. Yonghwan Kim is the CEO & President of Smart Radar System, Inc., a pioneering company in advanced 4D imaging radar technology, and a respected academic who previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Seoul National University.
His distinguished career includes significant executive leadership as a Vice President across multiple LG Group affiliates(including LG holding company, LG Electronics, LG Chem, and LG Uplus), where he successfully incubated major new businesses such as smart home, building energy management systems, and LED lighting. Prior to his executive roles, he built his technical expertise in the U.S. as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at TRI (Southwestern Bell) and a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc.
Dr. Kim holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and MS/BS degrees from Seoul National University in Korea.
