Talk 1: Vacuum Technology: Empowering the Semiconductor Industry
Presentation Overview:
Join us for a session with ANCORP, a U.S. manufacturer of high and ultra-high vacuum components, for a practical look at how vacuum technology supports semiconductor fabrication and related fields. We’ll touch on applications like thin-film deposition, space simulation, and particle accelerators, and highlight how ANCORP’s engineering solutions—such as patented valve designs—address common challenges in semiconductor manufacturing and research environments.

Talk 2: FSI Lab Link – Student Collaboration Driving Semiconductor Innovation
Presentation Overview:
In this session, we’ll hear from Dr. Navid Asadi, the program’s academic leader, who will share Lab Link’s inspiration, role, and how it’s building a stronger, more connected semiconductor research community. We’ll also welcome a recent Lab Link participant, who will give us a firsthand look at the student experience. What it was like to present research at another institution, the insights gained from peer collaboration, and how the program has influenced their academic and professional trajectory. Whether you’re a faculty member, industry partner, or student interested in research, this webinar offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Lab Link creates real impact, one visit at a time.
