Pitch at the 2026 Florida Semiconductor Summit


Calling all future tech leaders!

The Student Innovation Pitch Competition at the 2026 Florida Semiconductor Summit gives student innovators the chance to present their semiconductor-related projects (research or business ideas) to industry leaders, academic partners, and investors across the state.  

Whether you’re tackling materials, sustainability, design, AI, or fabrication challenges, we encourage you to apply!

What is the Student Innovation Pitch Competition?

  • Format: 3-minute pitch + 1 presentation slide
  • Team Size: Up to 3 student presenters (more students may contribute, but only up to 3 may present)
  • Eligibility: Currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students at a Florida institution
  • Fee: Free to apply, but you must register to attend the summit (student registration fee is discounted to $95)
  • Purpose: Showcase your project, get expert feedback, and build valuable industry exposure
  • Prize: Winners will receive a prize. The prize will be announced soon.

Eligibility Criteria


To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

Requirement Details
Academic StatusEnrolled in a Florida-based university or college
Team CompositionMaximum of 3 presenters per team; additional students may assist
Project Focus Must relate to semiconductors, microelectronics, or adjacent technologies (AI, robotics, fabrication, sustainability, etc.)
Registration RequiredAll student presenters must register for the summit. Student registration fee is $95

Presentation Guidelines


If your project is selected, please follow these presentation guidelines:

IntroWho you are, where you’re from, and what your project is solving
InnovationYour approach, solution, or idea. Keep it simple and impactful!
Slide Limit1 slide only (Slide submission due date: February 6, 2026)

Selection Process


Due to limited presentation slots, a selection committee will review all applications and select finalists based on: Innovation and relevance to the semiconductor ecosystem.

Slide Submission DeadlineFebruary 6, 2026

Rules & Disclaimers

  • Projects must not contain proprietary or confidential material
  • No business or product sales pitches—this is about learning, innovation, and exposure
  • Space is limited; only selected teams will pitch on stage

  • Complete the Student Pitch Application Form (you will have to include a short project summary (250 words max) 
  • Presenter(s) must register for the Summit
