Biography
Dr. Cristian Penciu is an Associate Professor Sr. at Miami Dade College teaching electrical engineering courses. He has a multidisciplinary background that includes mechanical, electrical and optical engineering, with experience extending both in industry and academia. In the industry he held a variety of positions ranging from R&D to leading the international sales, marketing and business development of a multi-billion-dollar company. In academia, he started by serving in administration positions as Dean of Engineering and Dean of Academic Affairs, followed by a transition to solely teaching.
