Roger T. Howe is the William E. Ayer Professor Emeritus of Engineering at Stanford University, known for his work in MEMS and NEMS technologies. Over a distinguished academic career at institutions including MIT, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, and Stanford, he has advanced microsystems integration, nanoelectromechanical devices, and sensor technologies. Dr. Howe has also led major nanotechnology facilities and research initiatives across the U.S. and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
