Exhibitor Guidelines

STEM on the Lawn is a community educational event designed to inspire curiosity and excitement about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) among K–12 students and their families.

This is not a vendor fair or a promotional event. Exhibitors are expected to provide an interactive, hands-on STEM activity or demonstration that is engaging and age-appropriate for a K–12 audience.

Participation is limited to STEM-focused organizations, companies, and educational institutions whose mission and exhibit content align with the event’s goal of sparking interest in STEM careers and learning.

Examples of acceptable exhibits:

  • A robotics company showcasing a robot that students can control
  • A science center offering a chemistry experiment or physics demo
  • A tech company demonstrating simple coding activities or AR/VR experiences

Examples of what is not allowed:

  • Displaying only brochures or business cards without an activity
  • Promoting unrelated services (e.g., insurance, financial advising, retail products)
  • Activities that do not involve a clear STEM educational component
