The Florida Semiconductor Institute (FSI) invites teachers and students across the state to participate in an exciting statewide STEM challenge! This is a valuable opportunity to incorporate semiconductor-focused modules into STEM programs across the state, with the added incentive of competing for recognition and prizes.

How It Works
1. Register Your Classroom – Teachers sign up to receive semiconductor lesson plans.
2. Select & Teach a Lesson – Explore a collection of elementary, middle, and high school lesson plans curated from our trusted
educational partners. These resources have been developed by industry leaders and organizations dedicated to advancing semiconductor education.
3. Capture Student Engagement – Take photos, record videos, or collect student reflections.
4. Submit Your Entries – Showcase student work by tagging @uf_fsi on Instagram during Showcase Week.
5. Win Recognition & Prizes! – Standout classrooms and educators will be featured and awarded!
Lesson Plan Options
- Elementary: Fun discussions, drawings, and activities exploring how semiconductors power daily life.
- Middle School: Research projects or presentations on semiconductor applications (AI, medical tech, space).
- High School: Innovation challenge—students propose solutions to global challenges using semiconductors.

Grand Prize: FSI Trailblazer Award
This prestigious award recognizes the top educator leading innovation in semiconductor education.
