AI-Powered Co-Pilot Learning in Virtual Reality: Personalized Training for Future Engineers

Description of Talk

Training engineers in microelectronics manufacturing is often expensive and limited by access to physical resources. Virtual reality (VR), enhanced with motion and eye-tracking sensors and adaptive Large Language Models (LLMs), presents a scalable and efficient alternative. Dr. Kang and Dr. Asadi at the University of Florida are developing an immersive VR training environment where an AI-powered virtual instructor detects task failures, offering real-time, personalized guidance. This innovative approach has potential to revolutionize workforce training by making learning more adaptive and interactive.
