FSI Welcomes Dr. Roseanne Perez as Its New Workforce Development Program Specialist

We are excited to welcome Dr. Roseanne Perez to the Florida Semiconductor Institute (FSI) as a Workforce Development Program Specialist.

Dr. Perez is a dedicated educator and workforce development specialist with extensive experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE). She holds a Doctor of Education from St. Leo University and has served in various leadership roles, including Assistant Principal in Title I schools, where she successfully implemented CTE programs and established industry partnerships to create meaningful internship opportunities for students. She has also contributed to curriculum development, designing online courses aligned with industry standards, and was recognized as Career & Technical Education Teacher of the Year for her innovative contributions.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Perez is passionate about mentorship, educational equity, and empowering students to bridge the gap between education and industry. As a mother of four, she has always been deeply invested in the power of education to transform lives. She is also a published author, with her book CTE: A Journey Through the Heart of Career and Technical Education exploring the impact of career pathways on student success.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing, cooking, and spending time with her family—especially as she prepares for an exciting new chapter as a first-time grandmother.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Perez on board and look forward to the impact she will make in strengthening workforce pipelines and expanding educational opportunities in the semiconductor industry.
