Talk 1: Join us for an exciting talk by Dr. Anna Herr. Dr. Herr has been the Scientific Director at Imec since May 2021. Prior to this she was a Northrop Grumman Fellow since 2015 and Advisory Engineer at Northrop Grumman since 2011. She received Master and PhD degrees in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She joined Chalmers University in Gothenburg Sweden as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in 1998, and became a full professor in 2006. From 2003-2006 she was a Research Fellow of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Dr. Anna Herr has 30 years of experience in superconducting digital circuits. Her research interests include superconducting digital logic and systems, VLSI circuit design and development of the EDA tools, magnetic memory, and classical control for qubits. She pioneered the superconducting low-power spin memory JMRAM. She has 77 publications and 30 patents, and multiple Northrop Grumman Leadership and Innovation awards.

Talk 2: Join us for an insightful talk by Peter Mejia, President of the Semiconductor Career Readiness Organization (SCRO). SCRO, a student-led interdisciplinary club, is dedicated to broadening students’ understanding of the semiconductor industry. Peter will share his journey with SCRO, discuss the organization’s mission, and emphasize its critical role in workforce development within this dynamic field.
